I thought I'd let you know that it's been almost a year since I purchased your Simplex 14S with the auto cycle and trailer package. I have processed well over 500 cords of wood with no problems. That is one hungry machine. It tows very well from site to site. Best of all, I haven't had to sharpen a chain yet. LOL. Dry wood has not been a problem, with the shear going through dry spruce and pine like a hot knife through butter.
When I purchased this machine, I thought I would have to process wood all winter, that being the reason I purchased the 24HP gasoline engine. If I had to do all over again, I would purchase the 60HP diesel Super 14 as the price I paid for the options on the 14S and the Super 14 does not appear to be significant. Once again I would like to thank you for a terrific product and EXCELLENT service.
