Orbit Screen Tackles Compost

The Orbit model 68A screen in this photograph is screening the bulking agent out of compost. In this case a 3/4" screen is being used and the screen is processing about 100 cubic yards per hour.

Going to a 3/8" screen will cut the volume processed about in half.

The moisture content of the material being processed will make a difference in the throughput. In this case the compost was at about 45 to 50% moisture.
